Tetyana Chaplygina D.O.M.P
Hello, and thank you for taking a moment to get acquainted!
I know that choosing the right practitioner is an important decision, so Iâd love to share a little about my background and specialties.
With over 15 years of experience in the health and wellness field, Iâm fortunate to be part of the amazing profession of osteopathy. My journey began in fitness, where I worked with people managing chronic pain, and over time, I expanded my practice to include Holistic Life Coaching.
It was through my own challenges with chronic pain, following an incident, that I discovered the profound benefits of osteopathy. I was amazed at how quickly it helped me heal, and I knew immediately that I had found something truly transformative. I fell in love with osteopathy and dedicated myself to learning it, knowing that it would become the most effective tool for helping others on their journey to healing and well-being.
The principles of osteopathy are very closely aligned with my own thinking. One key principle of osteopathy is the bodyâs inherent ability to heal itself when given the right support. I believe in empowering the body to restore balance, enhance mobility, and alleviate pain, which is why I use a holistic, hands-on approach to treatment.
I work with people from all walks of life, and my vision is to help individuals in my community live well, move well, and enjoy the freedom that only a pain-free life can bring. To ensure my toolkit supports this vision, I am committed to continuous learning in osteopathy, movement, exercise, coaching, and more.
Areas of Practice
⢠Osteopathy ⢠Craniosacral Therapy ⢠Visceral Manipulation ⢠Scar Release Therapy ⢠Microcurrent Therapy for Chronic Pain ⢠Movement Assessment and Exercise Coaching ⢠Holistic Life Coaching
My treatments are suitable for people of all ages, with the exception of small children and expecting mothers. However, women who are planning to become pregnant can benefit greatly from my care, as well as women who have given birth via C-section.
Your Treatment Experience
It all starts with a detailed intake
I take the time to understand your health history and overall condition so that your treatment plan is personalized, safe, and effective.
Comprehensive treatment
Each session includes an assessment, treatment, and home care. We may work on joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, the nervous system, and moreâtailored to your specific needs.
Consent at all times
You will always be fully informed about the techniques I plan to use during your treatment. Itâs your journey, and you are free to modify or stop any part of the session at any time.
Less me, more you
My goal is to keep expanding the time between sessions, helping you become more independent in your healing process. Thatâs why I place great importance on a personalized home care plan.
In Your Hands â Home Care
I give homeworkâbut not too much! Itâs tailored to your bodyâs needs and typically consists of exercises and stretches. We may also look at lifestyle factors and supportive nutrients to complement your treatment.
Health benefits coverage
Most insurance plans cover osteopathy. Currently, Canada Life or Industrial Alliance plans do not cover my treatments. Those companies will have a specific list of practitioners they choose to cover.
Here is a list of companies that will cover treatments I provide: Manulife, Sunlife, Empire Life, Blue Cross, Greenshield, Desjardins, Manion, Benecaid, Nextgen, Cooperators, Cinup, SSQ, Johnston Group, ICBC, Walkinns & Associates Ltd, Benecaid, Claimsecure, Chambers of Commerce, Nextgen, People Corporation, RBC Insurance, SSQ Financial Group, Grouphealth, Morcare

Tetyana, the Manual Osteopath
